Squirtle “Carapuce” is the starting Water-type Pokémon given by Professor Chen in the Kanto region.
Carapuce is a small bipedal turtle that is blue in colour. It has a brown carapace with a white edge and a beige belly. Its eyes are large and purplish. It has a tail rolled up on itself forming a spiral. It has four legs with three fingers each.
Its carapace, soft at birth, hardens with time and serves to protect itself and to throw water or foam, but also to improve its hydrodynamics.
